Spring sports tryout information

Boys’ baseball tryouts were rescheduled to Wednesday, March 1 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. for juniors and seniors, and Thursday, March 2 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. for freshmen and sophomores. Arrive on time and bring a bat, glove and dedication. For more information, contact Chris Lutting, head coach.

Girls’ JV softball tryouts are Wednesday, March 1 and Thursday, March 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. Varsity tryouts are on March 2 from 6:30 to 8:00 a.m. Arrive t to fifteen minutes to warm up and bring proper equipment such as a bat, glove and both indoor and outdoor shoes. Contact Jackie Hennelly, head coach, for additional information.

The boys’ and girls’ track team has officially started their season; however, it is not too late to join. There is no previous experience required. Practice is every day after school in either the field house or outside, weather permitting. Come prepared with warm clothes and running shoes. Their next meet is on Friday, March 3 in Sterling, Illinois. Contact head coaches Anthony Wilson (boys) or Adrianne Robertson (girls) with any questions.
