On Dec. 9, 2018, the trailer for Avengers 4: Endgame was officially released. Afterwards, hundreds of fan theories and speculations came out surrounding it.  The movie’s current release date is April 26, 2018, which is approximately a month after another highly anticipated Marvel movie, Captain Marvel, releasing March 8, 2019. The trailer starts out with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) monologuing in space, then it jumps to many scenes of Thanos’s aftermath. We see glimpses of what it has done to the heroes, and in such as, Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), who is theorized to be under the new alias “Ronin”. Personally, I am excited to see this fourth Avengers movie. It seems way different than all the other Avengers movies because it seems more serious, but I think we need this little bit of variety in the series. There are many differing opinions on this trailer.

“The Endgame trailer was pretty disappointing, but that can be expected, as this was more of a teaser than an actual trailer. There was no action, and it was all just serious with a more depressing tone,” said Abrahm Adamany, avid movie-goer and class of 2020.

“I’m excited and I hope the second part [Endgame] is better than the first [Infinity War],” said Sophia Janicki, class of 2019.

It seems as if to people who really analyze these trailers or who are into the details of movies, this trailer wasn’t sufficient. There are theories that a lot of these scenes are not even appearing in the final cut. The Russo Brothers (Anthony and Joseph), who are the directors, have pulled something like this before. They directed Infinity War and removed many of the scenes from its trailer, which totally messed with fans.

I am enthusiastic about this movie and cannot wait for it to come out. I recommend you stay on the lookout for more information regarding the movie.
