The 2019 Oscars are coming up, and many are thrilled. The Best Picture category is looking pretty promising. These include Black Panther, BlacKkKlansman, Bohemian Rhapsody, The Favourite, Green Book, Roma, A Star Is Born and Vice. I have heard of all of these except for The Favourite, Green Book and Roma.

From what I have heard so far about the movies I know of, they are all pretty good. The two movies I think that have the greatest chance of winning the award would be Black Panther or Bohemian Rhapsody. This is because I have heard the most regarding these movies compared to the rest on the list. Black Panther will probably take this award, due to how big Marvel is at the moment and the buzz the film created when it was released.

For Visual Effects, there are five rather big movies. These include Avengers: Infinity War, Christopher Robin, First Man, Ready Player One and Solo: A Star Wars Story. Three of these movies are from Disney, which I personally find quite weird. I believe Infinity War will take this spot quite easily, due to how big the film ended up being and the amount of money that was poured into making this film absolutely amazing visually.

Overall, my predictions are Black Panther for Best Picture and Infinity War for Visual Effects, which are both Marvel movies, that take place in the same universe (the MCU). I may be a little biased since I am a bit of a Marvel fanboy, but I think these movies have a great chance at winning. I recommend keeping your eye out for the Oscars this year.
